Pseudorchis,
valkokämmekät
There are two species in this genus, other which has two subspecies: P.
albida ssp. straminea (in Finland etc.), P. albida ssp.
albida (for example in Sweden) and P. frivaldii which is
coming from Mid-Europe. It is possible that other species could be found
elsewhere than Europe, I am not sure. P. a. ssp. straminea
also grows in Newfoundland, where it could be brought by Vikings in ancient
times.
The genus is sometimes called as Leucorchis.
